Below is a grant opportunity that could strengthen your asset building efforts:

African-American and Hispanic/Latino Health and Well-being Collaborative
Through generous funding from PepsiCo Foundation, Y-USA is proud to announce a third cohort of the African-American and Hispanic/Latino Health and Well-being Collaborative.  YMCA associations and independent YMCAs with significant African-American and Hispanic/Latino populations are encouraged to apply.  YMCAs selected for the 18-month Collaborative will work to address health disparities by more effectively supporting the health and well-being needs of African-American and Hispanic/Latino families. Ten YMCAs will receive $45,000 each to support their involvement. Applications will be accepted on Easygrants at http://grants.ymca.net beginning August 26; application deadline is September 10.
